Policy
The Education Directorate endorses school uniforms code. Refer: https://www.education.act.gov.au/public-school-life/at-school/uniforms.
The wearing of school uniform addresses several factors: ensures the safety of all students by making it easy for staff, administrators and visitors to quickly identify who belongs to the school; fosters a stronger sense of community and belonging, as all come together in a shared representation of the school; demonstrates respect - respect for ourselves, for each other, and for the school as a whole.
To read the Lyneham High policy in full, including the school's procedures for non-compliance, please refer to this document.
School polo tops and jumpers are available from the uniform shop. Students in special programs such as Band and SEAL also have specialist clothing that they are required to wear.
