The Lyneham High School Bike Maintenance Collective is a group of volunteer students and parents who help each other to keep their bikes running smoothly.
A well-functioning bike is easier and more fun to ride than one that is noisy, has squishy tyres and the brakes and gears don’t work properly.
Don’t know if there is enough air in your tyres? We will show you how to work that out and how to pump them up. Already an ‘expert’? We will get out of your way and let you get on with it or you can share your knowledge by helping others.
It will be held monthly (more often with more volunteers!) outside the gym across from the bike cage and it is free.
What do I get out of it?
- save money
- help the environment
- meet other bikey people
- get skills, possibly job skills...
