The National Assessment Program - Literacy and Numeracy (NAPLAN) will take place at Lyneham High School as follows:
Tuesday May 14th - Language Conventions & Writing
Wednesday May 15th - Reading
Thursday May 16th - Numeracy (two tests, one with a calculator and one without)
Friday May 17th is a catch up day in the library
Year 7 - During lessons 1 and 2
Year 9 - During lessons 3 and 4

Parents/carers and prospective students are invited to attend two Information Evenings about Lyneham High School on Tuesday 21st May and Wednesday 22nd May. The evening of Tuesday 21st will begin at 6pm with an address by the Principal followed by an opportunity for a tour of the school. Many classrooms will be open with examples of student work and demonstrations of various activities and programs, including one of the school bands.

SEAL Information Session - Wednesday 22nd May 6 - 7pm in the Library
LEAP Information Session - Wednesday 22nd May 7 - 8pm in the Library

Homework Club is running this year, with the addition of a second day each week. This is an opportunity for students to remain after school on Wednesdays and Thursdays to complete their homework tasks, using the facilities of the library such as computers, books, printer, photocopier and scanner.
There will be a supervising teacher, and a light snack will be provided.
The times are:
Wednesdays (during term time): 3.05pm - 4.30pm, in the library
